Bad sleep, hockey, Lower Decks, steak and John Wick

Had a less than satisfactory sleep last night which wasn't good. Woke up around 5am and then couldn't get back to sleep again so I started the day knackered, at least I wasn't working.

Started the day with the Dallas Stars v Vegas Golden Knights game three in the Western Conference Finals. The series is tied up 1 - 1 so far, First period was scoreless and ended 0 - 0. Second period ended with Stars taking a 1 - 0 lead after scoring with 16 seconds left.   Third period was a bit more frantic and ended tied 2 - 2 so it was into overtime. 31 seconds into overtime the Stars scored to win the game 3 - 2 and take a 2 - 1 lead in the series. Very happy with this result!

The latest episode of Star Trek Lower Decks had us chucking away, It might not be every Star Trek fans cup of tea but we enjoy it.

After a nommy sausage, bacon and scrambled egg breakfast (cooked by me, shock horror) we resumed watching The Boys moving from Season 1 into Season 2. This dark superhero show just gets better and better.

The chef's hat was back on again tonight as I hit the BBQ to make us all some lovely steak! Apologies for the state of the photo, should have taken it before I got stuck in LOL

We watched John Wick as I had never seen it before and I fancied a bit of Keanu, Not sure how this one passed me by but it was very entertaining I have to say. If, like me, you've missed out on this then here's a quick synopsis:&nbsp: An ex-hitman comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him. With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, JOHN WICK (Keanu Reeves) is a fresh and stylized take on the "assassin genre”.

Having enjoyed John Wick we then opted for the imaginatively titled John Wick: Chapter 2 (better know as John Wick 2)! John Wick is forced out of retirement by a former associate looking to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to aid him, Wick travels to Rome and does battle against some of the world’s most dangerous killers. More of the same, high speed vehicles, guns and action!
