Slow paced day, J-Rock, hockey and The Boys

Today didn't exactly go as planned. Tried to start work early and spent two hours trying to get my laptop to behave and log in properly. I did get there in the end but I was getting a little worried for a while. After that it was a slow paced, crisis free day which was wonderful.

My working music today were two J-Rock bands:
Destrose

Mary's Blood

After the working it was straight into the Stanley Cup Western Conference Finals with Dallas Stars v Vegas Golden Knights. Much to our delight the Stars scored early and were leading 1 - 0 at the end of the first period,  Second period ended with Stars holding on to that 1 - 0 lead. Although the Stars seemed to lose their oomph in the third the still won the game 1 - 0 so now lead the series 1 - 0.

Very happy with that result we were back on to watching The Boys to wind down out evening with some mindless superhero silliness. Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.. This series is well worth checking out.
