Early start, baking, game seven fun, Body Fixers and Lower Decks

Early start today as Toni had to go for a COVID-19 swab test in advance of her procedure on Tuesday. I went along for moral support but had to stay in the car masked up nonethelesss.

It was all a bit of a fiasco as the instructions we were given were wrong so we were waiting by their COVID pod as instruction only to fine out (when Toni phoned them) that she had to go in the main entrance as the pod was no longed used. Thankfully it was all pretty quick and we were back home in no time.

First up was making Toni's next batch of chia seed keto rolls and a nice cup of coffee.

We continued watching the Dallas Stars v Colorado Avalanche game that we stopped ed the end of the second period last night which ended with the Avalanche leading 3 - 2. Third period ended 4 - 4 and once again we were facing overtime. Dallas scored 12 minutes in to win the game 5 - 4 and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

The second game seven of the day was Vancouver Canucks v Vegas Golden Knights. Play off hockey moves into a whole new world of awesomeness when we get down to a game seven showdown. First period ended tied 0 - 0. Second period ended 0 - 0. Third period was even until the very end when Vegas scored and then bagged two empty net goals to win the game 3 - 0 and move on the Western Conference Finals. They will be facing Dallas Stars so I will be supporting the Stars!

Tomorrow we'll be watching New York Islanders v Philadelphia Flyers in another game seven to see who makes it through to the Eastern Conference Finals against Tampa Bay Lightning.

After a lovely dinner that I cooked (sort of) we watched the rest of Season 2 of Body Fixers and then caught up with the latest episode of Star Trek Lower Decks.
