Today was somewhat frustrating. Infrastructure issues can be a real pain sometimes especially when they prevent colleagues from doing things and you then have to come in to try and sort everything out. Sort it I did but I was starting to crack at one point LOL.
Catch up time on the hockey tonight with two games from Tuesday where both teams were facing 3 - 1 series deficits.
First up was Vancouver Canucks v Vegas Golden Knights with the Canucks facing elimination if they lost. During the first period we abandoned out plan to watch the other game as the commentators gave the result away! Dear NHL, some of us like to watch as many games as we can so we would really appreciate if if you were to stop commentators giving away the results of games being plated on he same day! I guess it serves me right for choosing which game to watch first and not watching in the played order Lesson learned! Canucks won the game 3 - 2 and so are now trailing the series 2 - 3.
Turns out the Philadelphia Flyers held off being knocked out with a 4 - 3 overtime win against New York Islanders so the Flyers are now trailing 2 - 3 and need to win the next two games.
Well that was a turn up. Both teams that I was rooting for pulled out wins and now they are both trailing 2 - 3 in their series
As we decided to skip the second game from Tuesday we then moved on to the one game from yesterday. Dallas Stars v Colorado Avalanche game six with the Stars leading the series 3 - 2. As before we were rooting for the Stars and it was do or die time for the Avalanche. The first period ended tied 1 - 1. Second period ended with Avalanche leading 2 - 1. Avalanche won the game 4 - 1 and with the series tied 3 - 3 have now forced the final game seven. I did not see this happening!
