Boy oh boy, so much car stress for Toni this morning!
She started ringing garages at 09:00 this morning to find one that might be able to fix her radiator. After finally finding one she rang the RAC to get them to come and tow her to the garage. They quoted her 75 minutes at around 09:25. This was fine until the garage set a deadline as they shut at 13:00. RAC then quoted 90 minutes at 09:50 which was outrageous. Had to cancel the garage as there was no way the RAC would get to us in time.
There was also some hassle over a hire too, twas all very complicated and made my brain hurt after a while!
Bottom line was:
a) Toni's car was towed away and taken to her mum's in Eltham (so she'll have to sort out the repair this week)
b) a hire car was provided for 24 hours (which is being collected on Tuesday as they wouldn't do it on Sunday)
